Near the beginning of the 2003 year, a few Shia youths of Iraqi descent, realizing the lack of religious and social activities in their community, began to gather on Thursday evenings to recite Du’a Kumail and then discussions. In April of 2004, after much deliberation, these youths adopted a name for themselves: Al Fajr Youth.
