This youth group is centered at the Jaferia Islamic Center in Burtonsville, MD.
Jaferia Youth functions under the guidance of Hujjatul Islam Syed Rafiq Naqvi as it
works to foster an Islamic environment from the teachings of the Holy Prophet and
his Ahlul Bayt. They host a variety of functions that include: community service events
like blood drives and working with orphanages, birthday celebrations of Ahlul Bayt,
youth camp, college and career planning seminars, youth planning meetings, interfaith
events, and lectures. they also provide a Welcome Packet for all new members in their
community. For those who visit or decide to move into this community, this packet provides
them with as much information as possible. The Welcome Packet serves as an introduction
