Odeh Mahawesh was born in Amman Jordan in 1959. He completed his high school studies in 1977 and moved to the United States to study computers and electronics. In 1982, he travelled to Qum, Iran, to study comparative theology where he remained until 1987. Odeh studied in Hujatiah, Faiziah, and finally under the guidance of his eminence Ayatollah Jaffer Subhani, one of the greatest scholars of all times. He is a resident scholar in Minnesota; a previous follower of Ahlul Sunnah that studied for several years in Qom before starting an lslamic organization for Muslims and Muslim converts in Minnesota. He enjoys much success as an activist and religious leader. He is a CEO of a new consulting company called the Minnesota Middle East Trading Company.
